One agent. One point of contact.
Start to finish.
Real estate is the largest financial decision most people ever make, and it deserves more than a form letter and a lockbox code.
Who I am
Hi — I'm Justin.
I'm a licensed Broker with The Jim Allen Group under Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston, working across the Triangle and east through Wake, Johnston, Franklin, Nash and Wilson counties. My clients run from first-time buyers to luxury estates, with investors, custom builds and land buyers in between.
My approach is simple and a little old-fashioned: I'd rather have twenty clients who would hand me their family's business than two hundred names in a database. That means I answer my own phone, I show up to the inspection, and I tell you when a house isn't worth what someone's asking — even when it costs me a deal.
What isn't old-fashioned is how I get to the answer. Before joining the team I led brokerages and consulted for high-performing sales teams, and I still run this business on disciplined systems and market data rather than instinct. You'll get my read — and you'll get the numbers it came from, so you can judge it yourself.
Buying or selling is rarely just a transaction. There's a new job behind it, or a growing family, or a loss, or a long-delayed upgrade. Understanding that part first is what makes the rest of it work.
How I work
Four commitments I don't bend on.
You get the truth first
If the price is wrong, the timing is bad, or the house has a problem the photos hid, you hear it from me immediately. Bad news early is just information. Bad news late is a crisis.
You are never handed off
No pipeline, no junior agent, no "my assistant will reach out." The person you talk to on day one is the person at the closing table.
Preparation beats reaction
Most deals are won or lost before they start — in pricing, in prep, in the lender you chose. We do that work up front, on purpose.
The relationship outlives the deal
Need a plumber in year three? A valuation before a refinance? Advice about a rental? Call me. That's the actual job.
The backing
A boutique experience with real institutional weight.
I came to real estate by way of sales leadership — running brokerages and consulting for high-performing teams — and that shows up in how your deal gets handled: analysis before opinion, a system behind every step, and negotiation that starts from evidence.
I'm a graduate of East Carolina University and currently an Executive MBA student at UNC Kenan-Flagler. I joined The Jim Allen Group in 2024.

Off the clock
Where the rest of my time goes.
The work that doesn't close, but matters.
ECU Board of Visitors
Giving back to the university that started it, and helping the next group of students get where they're going.
Organ donation advocacy
A cause close to home, and one worth talking about long after we've finished talking about houses.
Common questions
Before you reach out
I'm probably a year out. Is it too early to talk?
It's the best time to talk. The people who get the best outcomes start the conversation early — fixing credit, timing a lease, planning a repair, watching a specific street. There's nothing to sign and nothing to commit to.
Do I have to sign something to work with you?
Not to have a conversation, tour a home together, or get a valuation. When we reach the point where a formal agreement makes sense, I'll walk you through exactly what it says and what it obligates each of us to do — before you sign anything.
What areas do you actually cover?
Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Durham, Chapel Hill, Morrisville, Wake Forest, Rolesville, Youngsville, Knightdale, Wendell, Zebulon, Garner and Clayton, primarily. If your search runs outside that, tell me — I'll either learn the market properly or connect you to someone who already knows it.
Do you work with first-time buyers?
Gladly, and often. First-time buyers ask the best questions and deserve the most patience. Expect a longer first conversation and a lot of plain-English explanation of things nobody bothered to explain to you before.
What about investment property?
Yes — single-family rentals, small multifamily, and value-add purchases. We'll run real numbers on cash flow, cap rate and rehab budget before you fall in love with anything.
